I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud by William Wordsworth

If you are on the lawn and look at the sky, you can not see, but the sight is always changing. It is simple and shows a subtle way to another staging, as you lie there and observe. The clouds play on stage in featherlike or cotton-like costumes. Some are athletic and others seem like lambs, gentle and mild.

In the poem "I wandered Lonely as a Cloud ', is the importance of moving from a stray cloud, think slowly across the sky. The poet compares himself that aCloud as it moves along its path. He then watches from his lofty gaze on a field of daffodils beside a lake.

The daffodil is praised for centuries by poets and musicians. It seems to be a symbol of love and happiness. The Daffodil is a beautiful flower. Can you imagine a field with these yellow flowers? The daffodil is one of the specie daffodils and narka'o the Greek word meaning "to be stunned." This is indirectly, as the poet, as he stands looking at them feelsFlowers in full bloom. Think of the scent that fills the air. He is overwhelmed, and even slightly intoxicated by the numbing effect of the fragrance.

And the flowers alive. Using a metaphor, he speaks of a crowd and then a host - as if he is their guest. They are there to entertain him, as they dance and flutter in the wind on the lake. The flowers spread along the coast, the sparkle and shine like stars in the Milky Way. There are so many, they are innumerable. They are personified as"threw their heads in sprightly dance."

The beautiful scene before him is obviously something he has never seen. The presence of daffodils is to make it more beautiful than the sparkling and refreshing water of the lake. They give a sense of happiness and lightness. He stares at the flowers do not realize what will be the long-term effects.

Later, when he is bored and in a pensive mood, he remembers that day. The scene is etched in his memory and brings good luckto him.
